Lashons Wish Granted?

ATLANTA (AP) — A judge on Tuesday ordered rapper T.I. to pay more child support to the mother of two of his children after she claimed he wasn't providing enough money.

Superior Court Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane told the two-time Grammy winner, whose real name is Clifford Harris, to pay just over $3,000 a month to LaShon Dixon. He had been paying about $2,000 per month.

The judge also said the 27-year-old performer must continue to pay for the boys to attend private school, uninsured medical bills and expenses related to the children's extracurricular activities.

Tipton Lane also awarded the couple on Tuesday joint custody of the boys, ages 7 and 8. Dixon, 28, was granted primary physical custody. The children previously spent about 40 percent of their time with the rapper.

Dixon's attorney, Randy Kessler, said his client is still unsatisfied with the amount the judge ordered T.I. to pay but is happy to receive more child support.

"Every little bit helps," Kessler said. "She was just getting by with the children, while they lived a different life with their father. It can't be complete opposites on the other side."

An e-mail to one of T.I.'s lawyers was not immediately returned Tuesday.

He also has two sons with his fiancee, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, of the defunct R&B group Xscape.

Hell naw! Tiny went and made a few phone calls to clear up any misconceptions about what’s been circulating around the net. Tip’s fiance wants you all to know that the emotion-filled tirade that you guys read last night WAS NOT HER. (((Crickets)))

Tiny personally hit up NecoleBitchie last night and attempted to explain the entire situation. In a nutshell, she says that she’s not even on the computer like that and would NEVER, EVER respond to that type of mess:

I just want to clear this up. That was not me. That didn’t come from me. I would never say anything like that to anybody. That sh*t is crazy. I don’t have to prove anything to anyone and I’m not going to disrespect my family to do that. For one crazy person. I’m not even a computer person like that so for me to be going back and forth fussing with one girl about my relationship. I don’t have to do that. People talk about my relationship every day. That don’t bother me none.

All that about s*ckin d*ck and jump offs. I don’t know nothing about a jump off so clearly that wouldn’t even be cool. I have a 12 year old daughter that be reading that kind’ve stuff so that’s not something that I would do just for someone to write down and say that I said that. I don’t feel like I have to prove anything to anyone about me and my relationship so I just want people to know that I did not say that.

Source: ‘Let it be known that T.I.’s kids are extremely well taken care of’

Over the weekend, I received a phone call from a source close to rapper T.I’s camp who was upset by the one-sided media coverage of rapper T.I.’s ongoing child support issue.

She wanted my readers to know that T.I. is the greatest father and would never let one of his kids go without. She was very impassioned about the fact that all of T.I.’s kids want for nothing.

As you know T.I.’s other baby mama, Lashon Dixon and T.I. were in an Atlanta courtroom on Thursday where both sides presented financial disclosures. The presiding judge scheduled another hearing to determine how much child support the court will set for T.I. and Dixon’s sons Messiah Yamajesty, 8, and Domani Uriah, 7.

According to T.I.’s attorney, Dixon “chooses not to work.”

My source, who said nothing but kind words about Dixon, refused to speculate on why Dixon filed for child support when she gets over $5,000 a month in support for the boys — “on top of the $2,000 he hands her every month.”

T.I.’s support to Dixon includes private school tuition, clothing, even her mortgage and car note is paid by T.I. every month. My source revealed that Dixon has one other child with another man, but she refused to suggest that the other baby daddy put pressure on Dixon to squeeze T.I. for more money.

“In a nutshell, let it be known that his kids are just extremely well taken care of,” said my source.

“Those kids are outright spoiled. You name it, those kids have not only every Play Station, they have the PS3, the WI, the X Box, every Play station known to man. Whatever those kids want. If it’s their birthdays, they only turn that age once. The birthday parties are extravagant. They get outlandish! They’ve had pony rides at their parties, moon walks. It’s getting to the point where it’s hard to find stuff that they don’t have. They have motorcycles, 3 wheelers, 2 wheelers, you name it. “

My source said T.I.’s generosity extends to his business family as well.

While on house arrest, T.I. continued paying his three assistants who didn’t have anything to do. “He didn’t want his assistants to suffer for his mistakes,” said my source. My source confirmed that T.I. paid Dixon support while on house arrest and his children came over every other day at least. “He might as well have joint custody, he sees his kids so much,” said my source.

My source said T.I. has three nannies for his children, including a man he hired just to take the kids on outings while he works in the studio. My source also stressed that T.I.’s children don’t refer to each other as “half” sisters and brothers. “They’re brothers and sisters and they love each other.” She said T.I. treats Tiny’s daughter Zonnique as his own daughter.

“When T.I. and Tiny go on vacation, all the kids go,” said my source. “These kids are well mannered, well educated, they’re into everything. He deserves to be noted as a great father!”

T.I.’s sixth studio album, Paper Trail, is slated to be released on September 30.

In two weeks, T.I. plans a 3-day weekend of festivities to celebrate his birthday and album release.
